Zack Smith is an experienced writer and journalist who has written more than 1,000 articles, interviews, reviews and essays for numerous magazines, newspapers and web sites. He currently works as a regular contributor to the award-winning publications The Independent Weekly and Triangle Business Journal in Raleigh, NC, along with the popular comics news site Newsarama. In addition, he serves as the head PR writer for an investment relations company in Cary, NC.
Zack has recieved an M.S. from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, one of the top journalism schools in the United States. He also holds an undergraduate degree in English, Creative Writing and Film Studies from NC State University. His other work includes a year and a half as a staff writer for the Lynchburg News & Advance, and as chief content writer for an eductaional web site. He has also written several educational picture books for a small-press company. He resides in Raleigh, NC.
